Privacy Policy

The Standard is designed to be a private daily routine app. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app, including account access and cloud sync.

Information you enter

The app allows you to record journal responses, daily check-ins, goals, standards, completion history, reminder settings, appearance preferences, and other app settings.

When you create or sign in to an account, your profile, email address, selected standards, daily entries, check-in scores, goal check-ins, completion history, and related sync information may be stored with our backend provider, Supabase, so the app can support account access and cloud sync.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. You can change notification permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

Analytics and diagnostics

The app may collect limited analytics and diagnostic information, such as app interactions, feature usage, crash data, performance data, account mode, notification settings, and device or app version information. We use this information to understand feature performance, identify crashes, improve reliability, and support the app. This information is not used to sell personal data or serve targeted advertising.

Service providers

We may use service providers to operate the app, including Supabase for authentication and cloud data storage, Sentry for crash reporting and diagnostics, and Mixpanel for product analytics if analytics are enabled in the app build. These providers process information on our behalf to help us provide and improve The Standard.

Sharing and selling information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not operate an advertising network, share journal content for advertising, or use your data to track you across other companies’ apps and websites.

Data deletion

Removing the app from your device deletes locally stored app data from that device. If you use an account or cloud sync, some information may also be stored with our backend provider. You can delete your account from inside the app by opening Settings, choosing Delete Account, and confirming the deletion.

Children’s privacy

The Standard is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Any updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
